If you like any T-shirt design or wish to buy any image as a card, but would like some changes made, just b-mail me… I may not agree to EVERYTHING, but adding or removing text and reduciing size of images is possible. I can also try to turn YOUR OWN ideas into a card or a T-shirt design… The same goes for calendars.
Now about me:
I was born in Israel, long-long time ago… I lived there most of my life, till I moved to Finland, in 1996. In 2002 I immigrated again, this time to Holland, where I have been living ever since.
I studied Psychology (BA; Bar-Ilan, Ramat Gan), library studies, journalism (Diploma Studies; Tel Aviv University), applied graphic arts (Ort, Ramat Gan), computer programming… and well, the necessary (and difficult) languages: Finnish and Dutch. Lately I have been studying in a Masters program in “Hebrew Language and Culture” (University of Amsterdam) and soon I am about to get my Masters degree. This has taken care of my left brain hemisphere, while my art keeps my right hemisphere happy. I have been drawing (and painting) most of my life, writing every now and then and nowadays am much into digital experimentation and painting.
Concerning my drawings: I had 3 solo exhibitions in Israel (1979, 1984, 1985) and 2 in Finland (1998, 2000) and participated in group exhibitions in both lands, as well as in Stockholm, Sweden (2002).
Started photographing in 2005 with an old (second-hand) 3 megapixel Canon camera, moved to Canon PowerShot S70 at the end of that year. Started taking photography more seriously about two years ago, when I got a Canon PowerShot S5 IS. Lately I got a Canon PowerShot SX1 IS for my birthday, which is a welcome upgrade of sorts, though it lost the possibility of added lenses and filters the other one had.
I like taking photos of just anything: from macro to landscape, from animals to urban sites. I am interested in beauty, but I find it also in imperfections, not just in the breathtaking colors and shapes of what is commonly agreed on as beautiful.
